Hi Marek, really like what your trying to achieve. I feel the bird gets a bit lost in here. Not sure how you progress this. my ownly thought is to treat these types of image like a landscape photograph where the bird is the focal point of the image, however, unlike landscape photography you can't get your subject to stand exactly where you want it with lovely lead in lines etc. A lighthouse would be much easier  Look forward to seeing some more as I would like to have a go at this :toast:

Like the idea.. its not quite there, the bird is a little lost, not because of its size but more because it is not well lit, obviously you can't control it but I think had he been more in the open or had some more light on him it would have worked well, I am sure you will persist and get the perfect image though and I look forward to seeing more...

Very interesting idea but as has been said the eye is not drawn immediately to the bird but in my mind to the brighter area to its left. It will take some patience to get an image like this spot-on but keep going and working with the light as the result would be great

I like the idea, and its a cracking attempt. i think if the bird was in direct sunlight it would standout even more, I noticed some nice light on that tree in the background..
Nice to see the environment these birds live in too.

I like the idea and a tricky image to pull off successfully but this doesn't one quite work for me for the reasons stated above.

impressed by your proximity, i'm afraid i agree that this still needs a little more work though, still a good idea to run with
