I am going to be in Switzerland for a few days this month and have come up with a few places that I would like to shoot. My question is will the itinerary that I have be possible in the time that I am there, or will it be too much driving?

We plan on leaving on Tuesday (early morning) from Kaiserslautern, Germany and driving to Zermatt. We plan on photographing the Matterhorn from the "5 lakes trail" and a few other places. We will spend the night in that area as well.
Wednesday morning, we'll shoot in the area and leave for the Jungfrau/Bernese Oberland region. We plan on staying there and photographing on Wednesday and Thursday.

Friday we will head back to Germany and spend the rest of Friday and part of Saturday in Bavaria.

Does that seem realistic?
Thanks!

you have to expect much, much snow still up the mountains (and probably up to the lakes). you know you can not drive into Zermatt with your own car, so prepare for a long hike up...

You will spend too much time traveling, and be frustrated by not having the time you want for photogrpaphy. The Matterhorn is iconic, but its a long way to Zermatt for just that one subject. Better focua on the Bernese Oberland, where there is much more material, if you are interested send me an email and I can send you some more specific suggestions. Its a wonderful area.
