Hi all,

been working on the local cuckoos. Also managed to get a few shots of a rufous/hepatic female that's also around.

D90, 300mm f4 at 1/1250, ISO400, f8 +0.7ev

Cheers,

Is this a large crop Rob? It seems a bit soft on here. Well done on actually getting a shot of these I have only seen a few and never to photograph.

Agree does look a little soft but then I've never managed to get a shot of these perched or in flight  Good effort :toast:

any shot of a cuckoo nowadays is a winner, particularly one in flight - great stuff
