So many comps, so little time.
Just playing with the clouds a couple of days ago. Let me know what you think. It's hard for me to pull something worthwhile out so many clouds.
Comments and critiques always welcome, and thanks for looking,
I really like stuff like this, Morris. Out of this group, I like #1 the best, but I like the one you posted on ES&S better. I imagine these would have a lot more impact printed large.
Morris, I get what you're doing here and like the idea... I think finding the groove might involve minimizing the white blobs in the main part of the image.
Technically, these are really difficult shots to get, even with HDR. Our eyes can discern the range of tones, but the camera can't, and HDR on these looks weird.
Of the three you posted,I like #2 the best, with #3 a close second.
Your intention with these is significant, and appreciable... if you love it, keep working on it...I look forward to seeing more!
#2 is defintiely the best (of the 4). Good exposure there. I like the 'sun ones' but the sun is just a bit too overpowering for me--for example i actually prefer a more abstract bottom half of the top one.

I also posted one over in ESS if you get a chance to look there.
