Dinner Plate Hibiscus
Hello everyone- I haven't posted in a while, and have amost forgotten how to do so. I haven't forgotten everyone, just been quiet busy. Hope this one comes out o.k. I had to work on it a bit. Sharpened the center and extended the canvas at the top. I am still using my trusty Sony A100. ISO bumped up to 200 since it was very early in the morning and in the shade. These are beautiful plants and are winter hardy. :wavey:

Hi, Jackie!

That's a beauty. I can feel the texture...the colors and details are sweet.

Beautiful colors! How big is that thing?

Most blooms are usually around 10" across, sometimes an inch or so larger. The sad part is that the blooms only last for a day-but the plant produces blooms all summer long, well into fall. The good part is that they are winter hardy -most hibiscus aren't unless they are growing in Florida.
Thanks all for your nice comment and taking the time to post them.
