I thought I would post something over here since my move from CO to CA. Life in Monterey has been busy but fun. I have had a chance to do a bit more shooting now after the settling into the new job and area.
Anyway I took a trip up to the NorCal redwoods recenty. I was fortunate enough to catch a combination of sun and fog on the first day. The results were pretty awesome to witness with the big beams of light shooting through the forest. At some points a rainbow could be seen around the some and fog. I was a bit awe struck and dumbfounded at the same time.
I posted another on ESS but thought I would share one with my CO friends here as well.
I like this one better than the version you posted on ESS. The direction of the beams seem to fit with the direction of the frame better here. Very nice Derek.

The redwoods are both a challenging and rewarding place to shoot. Nat did some great work while out here.
If any of you our out this way let me know and maybe we can do some shooting together.
Derek
Thanks for sharing.
