Here is another from Saturday night at Big Basin. The windmill looks tilted, but after looking at the various shots from the evening, this appears to be its normal state and not lens induced. The cairn on the hill is actually across a small valley. It marks the way to St. Jacob's well, a natural spring that never goes dry. 50D, ISO 200, f/8, 1/25, 110mm, small crop.
Lovely shot with a dreamy moon. Reminds me of the red buttes back home in Northwest Oklahoma. Only thing missing is an oil tank battery! Here is a far less dreamy example.

Rob, this is a neat little setting made even better by the rising moon. I really like the sky with faint traces of magenta color dancing in the sky. There seems to be a slight cyan cast to the shadowed landscape. If you removed the color cast and increased the brightness & contrast on the landscape I think this would be even more appealling. Thanks for sharing, enjoy your weekend!
Thanks for the input Daniel and Wayne. Daniel, this is practically northwest Oklahoma :). I'm not sure the exact distance to the state line, but it isn't that far. Wayne, here is a repost with the color cast fixed. Thanks for mentioning it; I didn't notice it until I started trying to fix it.
