Guillemots on blue
I love these birds. Very sleek and streamlined. The feathers on their hood blend so well it looks like they're made of neoprene.

This pair and several others were sunning themselves on the rocks near the embarkation area on Skomer. The horizon seemed to blend quite well. Whether I have positioned it to everyone's liking is another question.

It works for me. I hope the weather is as kind to us next week as it looks here.

I would have preferred a little more space to the left to give them somewhere to look, but I am searching hard for something to pick up on. Otherwise, love it. :biggrin:

cracking shot, nicely exposed considering the conditions too :) im hoping things are similar when i spend 3 nights on there in July :)
