I'll be in Seattle, WA from 6/19 - 6/22 and was wondering if anyone has any good photo location suggestions that are within 2 -3 hours driving distance. I like to shoot waterfalls & lakes but am open to any suggestions. Thanks in advance.

Are you looking to hike? If so, how strenuous? Do you mind snow? I assume you mean 2-3 to get to the location not RT?

Ultimately, if you're unfamiliar with the area, and it is still that early in the year, I would venture to say that Olympic National Park gives you the most complete showcase of Washington's wilderness within a concentrated area. The weather conditions are a bit more hospitable on the Western Side of the Cascades, so the more elevated sections(Hurricane Ridge) will have lesser snow than the other mountainous areas of Washington, unless you go over the crest East.

How many days are you looking to spend for photography/travel?

A good itinerary( weather conditional) in June without that amount of days would be something like: Ruby Beach sunset the first evening. Heading north and checking out the Hoh the following day in the morning/early afternoon, then swinging by Second Beach NW of Forks on 101 in the evening. Then the last day head East on 101 and check out Lake Crescent and then head further East to Port Angeles, then make a detour to the South to Hurricane Ridge from there to capture the Olympic Mountains in evening light.
