Sunset over Marsh along the Mississippi
Here is another one from last month. Taken in the marshes along the Mississippi River near Trempealeau, Wisconsin.

An overcast day was showing signs of a sunset. As it was going to that time of fading red, I stacked up polarizer, ND grads, and ND filters to really slow the exposure and pick up movement in the clouds.

This was what I picked up.

Yes, I like the cloud movement in this image! How many seconds was your exposure/

About 30 seconds. It took some stacking to get it there so I was glad to have a solid ND on top of the grads.

Like the color and the sharp trees and water with the cloud movement. I just keep thinking that I need to slip on my glasses to get it in focus.

This has a lot of great color and emotional impact. The trees do appear to be a bit soft at this size and I'm wondering if it was very windy when you took this long exposure? Very effective composition.

Love the cloud action here and the comp works, but the color in the clouds feels unnatural to me.
