I drive by this spot every day on my way to work. I really like the place but I find it difficult to photograph because about 200 yards behind the trees is US-34. This foggy morning presented the perfect opportunity to eliminate the road and at the same time get the starting of the spring greening. The image does seem a bit saturated but I like it. The sun was peeking out of the fog just behind me so it is close to how it was that morning. C&C is always welcome.
Some color correction and you have a very successful image. Love the simplicity of it. I noticed two black spots that are a bit distracting to me, one in the tree and one just above the greens on the right. It might be natural or dust specks but in either case easily fixed if you choose to. Glad you were able to see and capture this location the way you envisioned, your patience paid off!

The two black specs are actually black birds flying/sitting in the tree. On a blown up image you can actually see what they are. But I have removed the one on the right but left the two in the tree. I also adjusted the colors a bit.
Hi Jim! Your image is nice, but I'm not sure that the foreground adds a lot in my opinion. I might crop out most of the bottom something like this to create some diagonal lines and focus on the trees. We're talking about art so this is just how I would do it, certainly not the "right way" to do it.

I like your revised color balance. I agree with Erik's suggestion, but I wouldn't crop that much of the foreground.
