Mine Mine
The last couple of weeks, I have been out photographing Black Crowned Night Herons and Snowy Egrets nesting (will be sharing some shots of those later) and while I was doing that this morning, I had a fun moment with two Cormorants. One was hoping for a share, but no such luck. His mate gobbled down breakfast as fast as he could. This reminded me of the movie Finding Nemo when the gulls were saying "mine, mine, mine" everytime one of them found food. Hope you enjoy :)

A wonderful action sequence, Kurt. :toast:
I'm always amazed at the size of fish these guys can gulp down whole.

Great shots! You captured some great interaction. If you do not mind me asking, where did you find the night herons. I have some by me in belmar, but had no luck capturing any images.

This is an awesome series! Great job!

Dan: You can find night herons on the South Platte by the Union Chutes whitewater playpark. They are fairly tame, but a 500 is needed since they are usually perched on rocks a bit too far from the shoreline for anything less.

A very good series, Kurt. Love the title, too. My grandkids have watched that movie about a gazillion times.

Nice series. Didn't know they could gulp down fish this big.
