Emperious egg laying
Out with an up and coming nutter, we shot loads and loads, and actually had an emperor land for a photo shoot, here's one later on in the day laying eggs I believe.

Great shot. Normally only the males have a blue body, but older females sometimes turn blue with age according to the books. I guess that is what you have here.

With regards to the subject captured egg laying & at this angle, simply awesome in every aspect including the reflection :eek:

I was flat on my bellie, unlike the Astbury's this means I'm close to the ground :biggrin: .
