Just caught
Although the House Sparrow is a seed- eater, they also have small insects on their menu. This one caught herself a damselfly.
Nikon D80 @ 420 mm, iso 200, F 7.1, 1/320 sec. (tripod).

Hi Sandra, I like the shot and the pose. But I think I would crop a little from the left side.
I think these little fellows deserve more attention then they get now. Nice shot

I agree with Tom, a tighter crop would benefit the image. Other than that it is great capture.

Nice one, I actually like it as presented, but if you wish you (and picture editors) have so many crop options....

Not a common sight I guess, maybe damsel tastes good with muesli.
As said a pic with many cropping options.
Nice one

Hi Sandra,

I like it too, shows off that lovely BG colour! As mentioned, all the cropping options you would want are there also.

Eating damsels - I hope you gave it a stern talking-to Sandra

Comp-wise it's a tad central - bit off the left would sort that, otherwise a very interesting and well executed image :wavey:

Such an underrated little bird, but you have captured her well here.
