Beautiful, Richard. The water looks like white cotton candy.

I can't tell you how much I miss the smokies...this just brings it home for me. Beautiful Richard. Good luck on your future book with Jerry about the smokies...can't wait until that one comes out. The Ultimate Guide is just fantastic as well...what a wonderful collaboration of information and photos...no wonder you were so busy this winter!!

Very beautiful, Richard. I really like the angle you used when photographing this. Seems like a very serene place to just sit and meditate for a while. :toast:

Having just made my first trip to GSMNP back in March and seeing and photgraphing these falls in person let me just say well done sir! Judging from light levels you were there very early with some fog present in the background? I like the way you popped the foreground greenery. NIce to be able to get there without a lot of folks in the way...a very popular spot. I rolled in there one afternoon and counted 30+ cars in the parking area. I got there about 4 pm and by that time most were heading out but stil had about `15 people to deal with until about 5:30 when I was able to take some images without the background being too cluttered.

I have been to Laurel Falls a few times and I think you chose a great angle here to capture it effectively. Well done.
