Skomer Puffin
This one returned to the nest having forgot its shopping list . When it got back it said sand eels!
Thanks to Andy Astbury, Andy Snape and Geoff Baker for a weekend long never to be forgotten . I haven't laughed so much for years.I needed it after recent misfortunes.
The pic.... taken in rather poor conditions ( too harsh)

And you said you never got one!!! Nice on mate, brilliant weekend, I'm really still smiling!
It's really impossible to offer any c/c's as I know just how difficult this was, never come close to getting one!

Unless folk are familiar with The Wick then they'll never realise quite how hard this shot was in the super-bright conditions we had.

Well done matey, nice comp too :toast:

The Wick is a great place for Puffin portraits but really tricky for flight shots given the line the birds generally take in to land - you've done well Mark on a clearly very sunny day!!

Good flight shot. Never mind bright conditions.....The Wick is not too good in misty overcast conditions either.

Glad you had a good time there.

Hello Mark.

Very nice capture.

Love the angle you have caught here the wings are nicely placed showing nice feather detail.
