This cheeky chap turned up with a few of his mates to grab some peanuts. It looks much sharper at large size than it appears here. Is there anything I could do to improve this? I tried Sharpen in CS3, but it didn’t seem to improve it as much as I’d hoped. Is that just a result of the small file size? All and Any comments welcome.

Mike,
Lovely shot particullarly with complimentary background.
Try unsharp mask, 70%, 0.7, 0 on the small version - should give you a really sharp image.

Thanks for the tip Andrew. I'll give it a try.

Have tried it - not sure I like it. It seems to have an unnatural quality to it now. What do you think?
