Ran out yesterday morning to take a few pics before the clouds and storms rolled in. Totally slept through sunrise and wasn't really sure where I wanted to go, so I found myself heading for Mount Evans. I stopped at Echo Lake to take a few pics. With the chill in the air and the breeze blowing, I knew driving to the summit would be pointless becasue I wouldn't be getting out of the car wearing only shorts and a t-shirt. Nice to see the pine beetles haven't made it here. I'm sure they will though. I think my processing workflow needs improvement as I seem to have intorduced some posterization in the sky. Anyway, nothing special here. Just wanted to share. :wavey:

Those trees certainly look alot better than many areas in RMNP!. I like the colours in this image, despite the bright conditions. There is a little posterization in the sky, and I see one dust spot!.

Picky, Picky, Picky! Only one dust spot.

This is a very pretty scene. I love the clouds. I've been playing with crops, and I think just a little off the top (to just above the clouds) and a little off the bottom, strengthens this.

Still a lot of snow up there. Nice happy bright sunny day shot.
