Found this in the garden this evening and have been unable to id it. Can anybody help please??

Techs:

50D 100mm f2.8 macro
1/20th f10 400iso -0.67
slight levels and sharpening in CS4

Hopefully I've answered my own question - a spotted crane fly I believe (although confirmation would be helpful

)

Looks like a spotted crane fly to me too. Great picture of it btw.

thanks for the replies and confirmation chaps - I was a little disappointed with the left wing too
