Well, I'm staying in Oregon. If you read my post from a few weeks ago you may remember that I was offered a Director's position up in Everett, Washington. I made it through all the pre-employment testing (background, psych test, drug test), but in the end, I had to walk away because they would not meet my bottom line for compensation in the employment contract.
It was very disappointing (in many ways, that I can explain in an e-mail if you care to know), but I am going to be staying at a very good job, with great people, and I'm going to continue to have easy access to some great photograph here in Oregon. I also get to spend time with some of the photographers in this area, and for that I am very happy.
I look forward to running across many of you on the road, the trail and elsewhere.
