Broad Bodied Male
Taken one evening last month and it was rather a dull light as I recall. It had settled down to roost for the evening.

Perhaps a bit large in the frame for some, but I was happy with it.

40D, 180mm,ISO 500, f9, 1/13 tripod mounted in the bushes .

I would be happy with this too-nice and sharp and the over cast conditions have stopped any highlights-nice

Hello Fran.

You have captured this very well, and the focusing is spot on to get this much in focus at F9. Background is nice and out of focus but still shows the enviroment.
One to be very pleased with.

Hi Fran, Ik like the shot. Great detail and sharpness. And imo not the big for the frame.
Also great compo/BG.

Although I don't like large in the frame shots for birds or mammals, it can work well for other mammals, including dragonflies. This shot is a case in point. Nice one, Fran.

Missed this earlier. Nice one.
To be really honest I think a little less contrast would be good. Maybe my monitor.
Cheers
