I decided to dust of the D1x and get round to building that lith-ion battery pack, the building of the battery pack was very very successful, I now get around 3000 images per charge from the new lithium cells, here is a quick image from the revitalised D1x I forgot what a great camera and image maker it has been.

Ps if anybody fancies a trip to the farns I am thinking of going again at the end of the this month/ beginning of next month

That's incredible out of an obsolete camera, I don't know how you did I can't work with my D2x now, great shot.

Nice one Phil , as said nice to see a catch light ,conditions look really bright with the contrast held superbly.
