In case you missed this point in Aleks' thread, the wildflowers in the Hayman burn area are absolutely incredible right now. The shots I took in there were all on LF, so I don't have any more to share at the moment. Think late July in the San Juans.
Also based on what I saw, I would expect the Wilkerson Pass area has very good blooms right now. I didn't get quite that far, but in years past I've seen some impressive blooms just east of the pass if the spring is very wet.
To add, if you missed my recent threads about Westcliffe, there is some nice shooting there right now. You may have to drive around to find them, but there are large fields just bursting with wildflowers. The photosI've posted don't quite do the area justice.
Most are behind barbed wire, so you have to be a little creative...the mountains do make a nice backdrop.
