As Kingfisher season is still very much going on i am spending most of my days at their nesting sites. That means that after spending several years there hosting my Kingfisher 1:1 workshops i have an extensive porfolio of around 8000 Kingfisher images and getting something different is still very hard to acchieve.
So to try and get another type of image i have been working with some harsh and contrasting sidelight wich gives me the opportunity to light the Kingfisher partially and by underexposing create a completely black BG.
Perhaps not to everybody's liking but certainly different from many of my other KF shots.
