I quite like this Sandra. Like the POV, but perhaps a tad more contrast to give it a bit more punch, or would that lose the quality/feel of the image? :wavey:

As stated Sandra great light and a different slant on a birdy image. Dont chop my duckling in half though. :toast:

Sandra - cracking light :wavey:

Pity about the half-duckling on the right frame edge, and for me there's too much foreground - perhaps a pano crop with the ducks 1/3rd up from the bottom might work.

Nice shot :wavey: :wavey:

Lovely shot, but it does need a little chopped off both top and bottom in my opinion. Great atmosphere though.

Thanks for your comments so far. Sorry about chopping the fourth duckling in half, but I kind of liked it (figuratively spoken of course). It's a personal taste, but I can also imagine your thoughts though. The pano cropping suggestion also crossed my mind, so I thought I would post it here too. Hope you like it.

Hi Sandra
Atmospheric shot (lovely light) with lots of character - I think the pano crop works well with the low p.o.v.
Cheers,
Chris

My first thought was a crop across the bottom about half way between the ducklings and the base in order to increase the emphasis on the ducklings, cropping the top to any degree is I think a step too far, as the image needs space to breath.

Very atmospheric, a excellent capture in anyone’s book. Nice one.

Agree with Ray - cropping the top isn't needed Sandra :wavey:

Hi Sandra,

Lovely image! I agree about the half duckling and the cropping suggestion, the slice off the bottom is good but the top should stay.

Lewis.

A lovely image Sandra, but chopping little ducky in half is cruel   :toast: :toast:

Nice work Sandra and agree about the cropping comments. Some super light you have there for a really nice scene. Well observed and taken even if you did chop one in half..
