One from a great day on the Farnes on Sunday,Forecast cloud and we got med weather!! Not ideal but good for flight shots, light was harsh but had to make do.
Lots of fun with like minded individuals, the boat was full of photographers, many familiar faces, and great fish and chips after!!
Nikon D3,500F4AFS/2,ISO 400,1/2000TH F5,Handheld,blue jumper on far bottom right corner of pic cloned out only, lots of people!!!!!
Hi Craig, what picture mode do you have your D3 in, is it vivid? I'd recommend changing it to neutral of it isn't already which is more suited to post processing. Looks like you had a great time.
Its in neutral!! It was one of those days!!!!
Prefer it myself, was always a keen velvia user and many of my images come out punchy and colourful which on this occassion is how I like it and how it was on the day.
I see where Tim & Ray are coming from. Irrespective of the camera setting, I too would prefer a slightly toned down version. I think the contrast & colours are down to do with the light.
Otherwise a very good capture indeed. These things are like bullets and I've yet to get one in the frame, never mind in focus!
