More Butterfly Milkweed
Taken last night (when it was too bloody hot!) along the Skyline scenic drive. Crawled around in the grass and didn't get a tick or any chiggers, must be too hot for them even right now!

Nicely done Scott. Are those fence posts on top of the hill?

This is another nice take on the profusely blooming butterfly milkweed. I like how you composed this Scott, blooms leading up to the sunset sunbeams. I am on a crappy monitor but I think this one would benefit from opening up the shadows some. Very nice work, thanks for sharing!

Nicely composed and balanced Scott, but I agree with Wayne - the shadows could use a little work. Love the sky...

Hey Scott, I like the highlights in the sky and I agree about the shadows.

I agree with the others that the shadows are dark but I really love that summer sunset with the clouds and shadows. I also envy your ability to not get attacked by the ticks and other troublesome pests.

I hate to sound like a broken record, but I agree about lightening up the shadows a bit. Otherwise, nice job. Great composition and colors. I especially like the clouds you captured along the horizon. You were lucky to not get attacked by bugs. I'm a mosquito magnet.
