I had hoped for a great sunrise for this popular view of Beaver Lake but it didn't happen this time. Fortunately the sky lit up for a few minutes before sunrise so it wasn't a total loss.

Nice pano Ed. Funny how sometimes mother nature just won't cooperate.
Pretty dang nice, Ed...I've tried several moonrise shots from there, but never got a sky nearly this good. Beautiful!
BTW, I stopped by Scott's the other day to pick up a canvas and was stunned by your Sneffels pano. The detail was just incredible - I've never seen anything quite as nice. Really sweet...can I ask what paper you used?
Thanks for the compliment on the Sneffels pano! it means a lot when such a talented photographer makes a comment like that.
The Sneffels pano was printed on the HP instant dry photo satin we talked about. They have a new bayrte based paper but I haven't tried it because it is more than twice the price and I like the ID satin.
