As of Sunday afternoon, June 1, the bird was still at the Lodge, foraging on seeds from the straw the mushers used for their dogs. It is not banded. It is very spooky. I'm convinced it is a wild bird. If you are a lister, it's a gimmee.

Are they unusual in your area? I have several in my yard in Mesquite, Nevada, every day.
