I spent five days last week tromping around Redwood National Park. Beautiful rhodies for about five miles up and down Highway 101 and coastal trails north and south of the Damnation Trailhead at milepost 16. It was cloudy most of the time, but no fog. Still no fog. On the last day, the fog came out at 10:30 am and lasted for about two hours only. But I was able to shoot some glorious photos in that two hours. Her is one of them.

Wow Tony, five days of waiting. Now that's patience. The fog really adds so much atmosphere to theses coastal redwood scene. Your compostion has got the depth where the background fades off into mystery. The rhododendrums are nicely placed here. Hope you'll get a chance to show us some more of your 2 hours of fog.
Spent about 3 hours at midday here, no wonder I didn't get any fog.
