It was a particularly good week to be hanging out in the Fauna Gallery this week - there were many images that were a feast for the eyes.
But, at least to me, there was one image that stood out from the others in several respects - it's simplicity, moodiness, and pure visual appeal. This image was "Hippo Mist" by James Campbell - it's my choice this week for the Pick of the Week for the Fauna Gallery. I'd recommend giving this image a good look! Well done, James!
During the week several other wildlife images appeared that are definitely worth taking a look at, including...
• "Dusk" by Sandipan Dutta
• "Gorilla #1" by Tim Stenning
• "Predation" by David Grimardias (his first post on NPN - and a very good one!).
• "Namib Tapestry" by Winnie Ho
• "The Tail End" by Pat Sampson (and it would be definitely worth one's while to view all of the images in Pat's recently posted fox kit series...)
This list represents just a small sampling of the great images posted in the last week. Thanks to all who posted images and/or comments in the last week...
