I spent last week driving the haul road and North Slope photographing. Within 60 miles of Prudhoe is a virtual wildlife safari (Musk Ox, Fox, Wolf, Owls, Etc..). Actually got a shot of a wolverine raiding a ducks nest within a couple of miles of Prudhoe. Road is rougher than usual though, but it just makes it more interesting

Thanks. I may head up there the weekend of the 4th if the weather is promising.

Thanks for the report, and welcome to the forum! I hope to head up there next year. So many trips, so little time.
