GOG Rainy Sunset
Just a new thing for me, seeing I don't normally go where there's any lightening remotely in the area. I normally don't go to the Garden at Sunset either.

This one is just a test shot from the series i was working on. I have a ton more I'm looking over and picking through. I took about 224 shots before it got too bad.

The Garden isn't typically a good sunset spot, but the lighting under the rain clouds makes this the exception. Now, if you can get that lighting again when the yucca are in bloom....

Great shot! Love the cloud and detail in the yucca.

This is wonderful, James! I love the comp and there is a "richness" (for lack of a better description) to this that I find really appealing.

I know we've all seen lightening Strikes, but have you ever seen a Rainbow Strike?

These last two really deserve their own post! Incredible!

These are great - I particularly like the first with the yucca (the three blooms roughly corresponding with the three main sandstone forms - very nice!)

Those first too shots are awesome, James--great original takes on the Garden!

Wow, James, these are great shots! I particularly like #2 and 3 - 2 for the dramatic menacing clouds and "rainbow strike" and 3 for its composition. Well done  Cliff

#2 gets my vote too, that one is awesome James. Boy it's been too long since I've been to GOG!.

Heck ya!

wicked shots, especially that first one for me. I love the second one too, but I just don't like the couple of hot spots in the clouds towards the top, but that is just me being picky over those kind of things
