Baby Blue Eyes
Several months ago I posted a vertical rendition
of a Baby Blue Eyes. This is a different flower
in a horizontal format. As before I used extension
tubes and a 50mm lens. I did some minor tweaking
with saturation and sharpening. As always I welcome
your comments.

Robert, I like the softness and delicate features of this scene. Even the blue has a very calming effect when viewing it. At this size it appears the pistils also look very good as a complete grouping here. Very nice work.
As a side note, I did get to use my macro lens for at least some closeup work while I was in the Capitol Reef area. I did not really get down to fine macro work with tube extensions as I did only see a few cacti flowers that were very nice, but, the ants had other ideas. :frown:

Robert,

This is excellent macro work. Brings back memories when I had a Nikkor 55m macro that I used on some focusing rails w/ bellows.. Anyway, this is a wonderful close up. I have no suggestions for changes or improvements. Great work.
