Another Morning in the Sierra
Since I'm headed up into the AA wilderness tomorrow morning, I though I would post something from up there. It's an old D70 file.
A little cramped but I was into head aches back then.

Steve, very nice shot of this classic scene. I'm with Floris, you gotta love that FG. Have a great trip!

Yep I have some old 35 chromes like that too. Ought to be pretty snowy again this early. Too frozen for my liking. I'm probably going to make the long drive over to the eastside this weekend and be up McGee Creek early Sat. T-storms today but the weekend will be Provia sunny.

Great shot, a little fill flash or a GND would have helped open up the shadows in that vegetation.

Great textures, colors, and reflection. It probably was impossible, but it
would have been nice if you could have composed so as to not make some of
the foliage appear as if it's merging with the reflected portion of the mountain.
Nevertheless, that doesn't take away anything from a lovely image, Steve.

Nice shot Steve. The FG is awesome though I wish it was a tad brighter. Could be my crappy monitor though (I'm at work now).

Love the foreground too and agree w/ the comments. Look forward to seeing what you will bring back.

Oooh I'm hiking up there and to Ediza Lake in August. Your timing might better than mine with more snow on the ground. I hope you get some killer clouds this time! :toast:

Nice shot, Steve. I like the symmetry in the reflection. And the FG is really cool of course. Not sure you're looking for C&C but I would suggest a slight crop on the bottom to remove the empty LLC.
