Hi everyone,

I went to Iceland two weeks ago and had a wonderful time there.
The landscapes, the wildlife,... It's an amazing island.

Could make this picture of a Red-throated Diver in the evening light.

Brilliant image, I agree with Craig the light on the wing makes it for me. You have some great images on your website that may have just persuaded me to make the trip there next year!

Well done Sam that's one nice photograph. I'd almost prefer not to know what kind of bird it is and just leave it at that.

It's full of atmosphere and I'm glad you can't make out any detail in the head or eye. Very contemporary and well composed.

Thats good.... well taken a great sillouette the light catching the front wing takes up that extra notch.
