Having missed the conference this year and there being few events. I've been feeling a little "disconnected" with the forum and posters.
I wondered if some people wanted a get together and maybe I could show some of my local spots? This would cover the Longdendale/Glossopdale area.
Any UKNP poster is welcome. Now i'm not putting a date on this yet, but i think late July should be a possibility. I've not done anything like this before, so if anyone would like to give me a hand i'd be most grateful.
Post below if your interested, and what people would like to take pictures of (birds, flowers, landscape) and i'll try and get something together.
I'd be very interested Paul. Thanks for taking the initiative. Let me know when the date is and how I can help in the organisation. Preference for me would be birds or mammals.
Ok I'm free on the 25/6th of July (had to run it pass the boss) which would be better?
Mammals are a little hit and miss i find. I have some spots good for Hare but we have no red deer here, and the Roe's are very shy. Unless you want to take pictures of Sheep... we have plenty of them
Birds are pretty easy as we have the full range up here from little song birds all the way to birds of prey... The only issue is that in late July some birds are probably going to be molting, which may be an issue.
I think macro subjects would be a safe bet. I'll post one of the locals later :)

If you can pin a date to this I will add it to the forth coming autumn/winter gatherings post.
