Oh no, not another...
...flying puffin!

Hi all

Just got back from a three day visit to the Farne Islands. What a great place! First time I've worked with puffins and hopefully it won't be the last. What great birds - full of character.
Took an assortment of lenses but ended up just using the 500mm - found it gave the best results for both portraits and flight shots.

Cheers

Simon

Another well executed Puffin flight shot.
Good positioning being full frame too.

Well composed, exposed and captured image Simon. Like the added bit of interest with the sand eel hanging down.. You gotta love these birds.

Very nice Simon. That sandeel hanging down just breaks up the symmetry nicely. Great shooting as well.
