Beach scene at sunset. Comments appreciated. :) Canon 5d, 17-40, 3stopnd, 4ssgnd at f/22 with some cropping at the sides.

I like the colors and the patterns in this but I think I would like it even better without the crab and other two "objects" in the foreground....they look too organized as if they were placed there....may not have been but that's the way it looks to me. I think a comp with just the grasses in the FG would simplify and strengthen the image.

a great shot with nice soft colors but it just looks way to "set up" for my tastes

I'm not sure looking "placed" is such a bad thing. I like the shot myself.

I like it too. A seashore still-life. I like the silvery look to the water, too, and the fan shape around the setting sun.

This was a betterphoto winner, second place in landscape.
