More Mt Evans!!!
Hopefully you aren't too tired of images from this area. I decided to head up on Saturday afternoon, hoping that this stormy pattern we are in would take a break for the night and allow for a good sunset.

On the way up...

A stop off at Summit Lake - you can already see that it could be a bit interesting at the top!

So, I get around the first switchbacks headed up, and luckily it's not totally socked in. Let's just say the clouds were moving fast...

I decided to stay in this area, as it looked like the clouds were pretty socked in around the summit still...

Now things are really getting intense!! I actually backed the saturation off on this one as compared to my normal lightroom preset...

The clouds cleared out a bit after sunset, and grabbed this one with the moon... Perfect way to end the night.

Wow, those are some intense clouds! I really like the last 2. You were probably wise to stay where you were. And by the way, I never get tired of Mt. Evans images. Keep 'em coming.

Great shots! Those clouds are really red. I also really like the Summit Lake image.

Wow, the light and clouds in 3, 4, and 5 are just great. Nice captures Michael.

Thanks all for your comments! I appreciate the feedback.

Kelly - I know what you mean about the Mt Evans pics, I always love seeing them. I try to get up there a couple times a year at least for sunset or sunrise. The weather and conditions change so quickly, you never know what you are gonna get!
