Apears to have a blue cast, quite possibly due to the hour, but would need correcting if used as a stand alone image. Nice capture, well worked.

I have to agree with Ray on this one, but it is an easily sorted problem, and otherwise a great image.

yep the cast is on mine too , but perhaps thats as it was .Another fine image. Wish I could get mine down out his tree and onto a post .Following meal worms I'm trying earthworms but I can not get em to stay on the post.!

Excellent shot! Lots of detail and lovely background and composition. It does have a blue cast for me too, but I think only the owl needs to be adjusted slightly (if possible) as you don't want to lose that lovely background.
I think the colours are typical of the evening light but a fine example of the bird nonetheless. I'm sure you could easily make more of this if you wanted.
Nice work!

I like it a lot, dont mind the blue cast.

impossible to fault the comp and overall image, it looks like the blue cast was intentional it sort of works for me, makes it look a little different and makes it look like a late evening shot.
maybe could have gone for a silhouette ?
I do actually quite like it though, would be interesting to see a corrected repost with the blue cast removed and the temp boosted a little..
Thanks for your comments!
Here's a repost of the image with correction on the color cast (just on the bird).
The color cast was indeed from the late evening low light and i thought it fit the image well but agree the corrected version does look somewhat "fresher".
