Upside Down..? For me anyway, but a nice record shot nonetheless.. Good detail where it counts, what aperture did you use and could you have isolated form the BG by stopping down a tad more..?

Quite a nice shot, the background doesn't bother me too much as it adds a little sense of habitat. The butterfly itself is a bit too bright. You could probably have controlled it a bit more with more exposure comp, or going back later. Also, I see you're using 400 iso, was there any reason for that? I would have thought given the light you could have used something a bit lower? This seems to lend itself to a portrait crop which might be quite nice.

Good sharpness, image too central for me and a tad too bright but still very nice

Repost is better, perhaps a little too much on the highlights, but I do not like bg's blurred in post processing, it always shows and never looks right....

I agree with Phil, but nevertheless the repost is a much better image in my opinion.

Agree with the repost, a far more pleasing image.

Maybe work on the cloning in the bottom, then it'd be about perfect, good job on the highlights too!

it's strange I preffered the subject facing up but obviously with the perch the right way round, if you see what i mean.
