A mountain lion with a tag was treed by some dogs in a garden in central Loveland a few days ago. From the pics I saw it might have been a young animal. FYI.

They get everywhere these wild animals!

Our neighbor just told my wife a couple of days ago, that they saw a mountain lion walk through our yard back in March during daylight hours. I dream of the day of seeing a wild lion, and when one comes to say hello, I'm not around. :frown:

I've only seen one once and that was down in Arches NP and it was on the same ridge that we had to go along, luckily after a nervous half hour we never saw it again! And it was moving fast, wow!

I've seen them in the Big Thompson Canyon in the early 80's. What a sight. Pappa, 2 mamma's and a couple a kids were standing on a rick heading up the mountain. A sight I will never forget. These cats are fascinating. We'll be staying on our property in Drake (Not far from Loveland)and I'm curious if there have been sightings there!

I was up in Golden Gate Canyon this last weekend and had a run in with a Bear and a Mountain Lion. Made for an interesting trip...
