Just wondering if we can have a flower conditions topic on the forum that stays at the top. It's that time of year.

Also, has anyone been up to the Snowy Range in Wyoming this past weekend? Would like to know how the Columbine are coming along.

And, for those interested, just returned from 4 days in the Tetons. The yellow flowers (I think it's Balsam Root) in Antelope Flats and Oxbow Bend are well past peak and sickly looking. The lupine at Pilgrim Creek pond are in full bloom right now which is EXTREMELY unusual this late in June. Though, not quite as thick as previous years. There are tons of lupine also mixed in the trees and stream beds throughout the park. Much warmer weather is predicted so not sure how long they'll last. Numerous buffalo in the Antelope Flats area. I'd guess well over 100 and some with calves. Talked to a couple of photographers that said a couple of grizzlies have been hanging out at the dam the past few days.

I'm going to Crested Butte this week and Ouray 10-15th so I'd be glad to post to a thread. Also going to Indian Peaks in the next week or 2...and Shrine Ridge...and...and.

Indian Peaks today was boasting the usuals, not sure of many of the names, but the Arnica, Ice Flowers, and what appears to be like smaller lupine are out, especially in the meadow enroute to Jasper Lake. Some columbine sightings! It's very exciting!!
