Lake Isabelle trail conditions?

I was thinking of doing the Lake Isabelle hike from this coming Friday - but I see that Pawnee campground (Brainard lake) is closed. Does that mean the road to the trailhead is closed too? Anyone know what the Lake Isabelle trail conditions are like?

I was there last Friday around 10pm and the road to the trailhead was blocked off. Based on some of the photos from Flickr, the trail looked pretty wet and snowpacked.

I was up there on June 12th. We had to park down by Brainerd Lake and the trail was snow-covered all the way around Long Lake. We didn't make it all the way to Isabelle--too much snow.

I called the NFS last week for conditions update, and they said pretty much what Will and Joe said. Trails are all snowpacked was what they told me!.

Thanks for the information gentlemen! Looks like I'll put off the trip until mid-late July.
