Thought I'd share this for fun because the scenery up north never ceases to blow me away. This is Nicoamen Falls in BC, about 9 miles east of Lytton. The waterfall is 272 feet tall, I'm standing less than a foot away from the edge of a sheer 400 foot cliff as I took this and my camera was pointed literally almost straight down. Even shooting at 10mm its impossible to get the whole canyon in one frame, its that massive. And it was just as hairy as it was impressive. Pictures unfortunately don't do it justice.

Come on, Bryan, we need some photos from the base of the falls!

David - Though I've occasionally shot two different exposures and blended (with mixed results), I abhor the reliance on HDR to deal with high contrast because it doesn't allow one to learn how to properly deal with light and shadow. I've never intentionally bracketed (more than two exposures) for HDR and I doubt I ever will. Plus, I have very rarely encountered a scene that couldn't be dealt with in one exposure and some know-how in PP. This wasn't intended to be an artsy shot anyway, I just wanted to show the gaping maw of awesomeness that this canyon presents.
