I never realized it, but Utah has sunflowers that look very much like our Kansas versions. We usually go to Utah in May so never saw them before, but this year our vacation was delayed until last week. The sunflowers were blooming in profusion in places! This was taken from the trail that leads to Broken Arch in Arches NP.

Angela, if it wasn't for those big fins of red sandstone, I would think that you took this in Kansas. It does indeed look like a lot of flowers and greenery. There must have been a lot of rain there too.
I like the soft light on the rocks and the foreground flowers and the colors are outstanding. I also really liked your broken sunrise image on ES&S. Looks like you had a great trip.
This is beautiful Angela...Something I wouldn't expect by red rock...What a pleasant find that must have been! I like your crop on this. It frames it out well
This is really great, I love the light you captured.

One of your very best landscapes Angela, love it! A beautiful setting, warm light, good shadow detail and the unexpected bonus of wildflowers setting off those amazing fins.

This is a great image Angela. The light, composition and colors are great. The angle of light really gives life to the rock. The wildflowers really make the image so I guess I'm glad your vacation was put off.
I like it too. Beautiful color and cool weathering effects on the red sandstone. And the profusion of sunflowers make for an original and unusual foreground. Nice work!
