I just got back from a family vacation to Saint Lucia in the West Indies, so continuing with the recent sunrise/sunset theme here are a few that I captured while hanging out on the beach. The first two are from the same night and the third is from several nights later.
Lovely shots Tom...I'm a bit jealous though I really love the 3rd shot..Very mysterious...

I'd have to go with the third shot as my favorite as well. Lots of great stuff going on there. Beautiful work.

Tom, these three images really have a wide variety of dominent colors. The third one is most appealling to me, nice balance and plenty to take in for the viewer.
From the looks of it you must be one mellow dude right now.

I like the third shot a lot also. It has a great mood.
All are nice, but I especially like the third one. The diagonal clouds, along with the diagonal shoreline leading to the mountain make this a really strong composition. And I love the pink/gray/blue color palette in the sky! Nice job, Tom.
FWIW, my wife's son spent about a month on St. Lucia training in the Peace Corps, before moving on to St. Vincent for two years. Toward the end of his tour, he landed a part in Pirates of the Caribbean - but they didn't start filming it until his last day there, so he had to fly back with the government-issued ticket, or buy his own for a later departure. Beautiful place!
Thanks for all the votes for #3. I really liked the image #3 the best, but it is nice to see everyone else likes this one also. After I posted it, I noticed some halos around the mountain and it bothered me most of the day. Here is a repost with the halos removed.
Bill, you are correct, St. Lucia is a tropical paradise.
