Not the most original composition, but I was at the Goosenecks in Utah right at sunset enroute to my camp at Muley Point and I just couldn't resist.
Taken 30 seconds before the sun disappeared over the horizon.
John...wow.... this is the best!!! Great shot.... almost like a Jack Dykinga shot... very unusual perspective....great exposure on shadow and highlight areas...regards, Rajeev .

I can't add anything to what the others have written, John. Beautiful, just beautiful.
I don't know John...looks pretty original to me...not boring at all...love the shape of the foreground...like an arrow pointing to where you should look next.

Somehow I must have missed all the similar comps in the past! Looks pretty original to me as well and the warm/cool color contrast make it very striking. Well done, John.

Nice shot, but for some reason it looks familiar. I think Ansel Adams beat us to it by a few years. I wish I could find his shot from the exact same spot.

Well, even if it isn't the most original shot (although it was for me prior to Adam's posts) - it's still a great image! Great color contrast between the warm earth and the cool canyon below.

I really like the composition and the warm/cool contrast of sunlit rock to shaded canyon. This is a unique image from here.
