Lake Isabelle condition 6/27
I was going to reply to the previous message but decided to start a new thread to share some images. Nothing spectacular but hopefully they provide some idea regarding the current condition.

The road from Brainard Lake to Pawnee pass TH was closed the previous night due to flood situation. Since it was a scouting trip anyway, I didn't start the hike from Long Lake until sunrise. The trail is 50% patchy snow but easily passable up to the lake. I did bring my poles and they are helpful, especially if you want to hike up to Pawnee pass.

#1 Long lake at sunrise.

#3 Navajo peak. I sat at this place for 2 hours just watching the clouds flying by and enjoyed my brunch. At some point I decided to play with my 64x ND and record the movement together with my favorite peak.

Great shots Tien-Chien. Love the color of the water. It's interesting to see how much ice and snow is still up there for this time of year.

Not bad for a 'scouting trip'! I love that second one and the floating ice shot.

I thought the water color was interesting too. I like the second and third shots showing that floating ice in the lake with the mountain backdrop the most.

That's really neat how the ice has melted away from the edges of Lake Isabelle leaving ust a floating iceberg in the center. Really nice shots to be sure.
